RUTH MARRIES RAJU

Rejoice with me!! Our beautiful Ruth from Grace Home has married.

Ruth, now aged 19, went to work as a volunteer in our sister organisation - Bethesda New Life Hostel - a family home for 43 cherished children & young adults who have various physical or mental disabilities, or are orphaned normal children.

There Ruth met Raju, a young blind man who has been educated for most of his life at Bethesda.

Raju has a B.A. & a B.Ed, & works as a volunteer teacher at Bethesda. He also plays keyboard & leads worship in Church services. Before long, Ruth & Raju fell in love wanted to marry. Following prayer, leaders of Grace Home & Bethesda Hostel believed this marriage was the will of God. On Thursday Dec 2nd the marriage took place with hundreds of well-wishers celebrating with the joyful couple.

Local dignitaries attended, as did many TV film crews & newspaper reporters. The media were so keen to discover why a normal sighted girl would marry a blind man! In Indian society, this is virtually unheard of.

But, our wonderful Father God loves & cares for those who are rejected by man. He gathers the outcasts to Himself, & He sets the solitary in families! Hallelujah. Psalm 147:2-3; Isaiah 56:8

PREPARING TO SERVE THEIR SAVIOUR

Johanna, Ruth & Susanna

These three beautiful young ladies have grown up from childhood in Grace Home.

Under the loving care & guidance of Pastor Ch. Ezra & wife Vani, they have blossomed from brokenness to become mighty women of God.

Susanna 18, & her sister Johanna 17, lost both parents, & Ruthu 18, never knew her family. Their lives have been so transformed by the love of Christ, that their whole desire now is to serve the One who has made them whole.

All three girls are studying at Bible College in preparation for fulltime ministry. One girls wants to minister to children, & the others in evangelism & pastoring. Johanna is a worship leader & the other two assist her in the singing.

All three girls have a mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit upon their lives. It has been such a joy to watch them grow up & to see the hand of the Lord upon their lives shaping them into vessels of honour to His glory.

I am so grateful for the three New Zealand families who have sponsored these girls so faithfully for many years. The fruit of your giving is so precious!!

Join us in praying for godly husbands for each one.
